                  Recommended Action:  Approve minutes as presented.

Description: Review the available information and consider whether to make a “Preliminary Determination of Ineligibility” for the above referenced address.  (Continued from February 9, 2011 meeting.)

c.         Board and Commission Rules of Procedure

            Description: Council Policy No. 000-5, amended on February 2, 2011, lays out a set of protocols and procedures for all City boards and commissions, including the HRC.

Recommended action:  Receive report.

 

d.         Presentation:  Status Report by Committee Member McCord on the historic renovation of the Roman Plunge at the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey.

 

e.         Discussion:  Brainstorm potential criteria for establishing a list of important people associated with historic resources in the City.

 

7.       Reports of HRC Members

 

HRC members may ask a question for clarification, make a brief announcement or make a brief report on his or her activities. In addition, HRC members may provide a referral to staff or other resources for factual information, request staff to report back to the body at a subsequent meeting concerning a City matter or direct staff to place a request to agendize a matter of business on a future agenda (G.C. 54954.2).

NOTE:  Please note that Section 65009(b)(2) of the California Government Code provides that legal challenges to the City's action on A project may be limited to only those issues raised in testimony during the public hearing process.

 

Any person not satisfied with a Historic Resources Committee decision to add or delete a structure to/from the City’s Historic Resources Inventory may appeal such action to the Pacific Grove City Council pursuant to Municipal Code Section 23.76.120.
