3.                  Approval of HRC Minutes

a.   Consider Draft Minutes of the March 9, 2011 HRC Site Review and Regular Meetings

 

Recommended Action:  Approve minutes as presented.

c.                   Discussion of Demolition and Assessment/Preservation Measures for Brokaw Hall

Description: Review of Conditions at Brokaw Hall, Emergency Notice and Order to Demolish Brokaw Hall, CEQA Notice of Exemption, and review of applicable provisions of the Historic Preservation Ordinance (Chapter 23.76). Review assessment method,  and discuss options for preservation measures.  

CEQA Status: Exempt, pursuant to Section 15269.

d.                  Discussion of Pacific Grove Historic Resources Committee (HRC) Work Plan and Tentative Calendar

 

Description:  The City Council’s recently revised Council Policy No. 000-5 calls for each board and commission to approve an annual work plan and calendar.  This item presents a draft 2011 HRC Work Plan and Tentative Calendar.

(HRC members may ask a question for clarification, make a brief announcement or make a brief report on his or her activities. In addition, a majority of HRC members may provide a referral to staff for factual information, request staff to report back to the body at a subsequent meeting concerning an HRC-related matter, or direct staff to place a matter of business on a future agenda (G.C. 54954.2(a)(2))).
