Emergency Home Repair Loan
The City of Pacific Grove’s Emergency Home Repair Program provides loans of up to $10,000 to address substandard conditions posing a serious threat to health, safety, and the welfare of the household and affecting the immediate livability of the home.
Examples of emergencies that may be covered under the program are:
• Lack of running water or heating/cooling
• Exposed/hazardous electrical wiring
• Defective sewage waste lines

Assistance will be granted based on priority and the eligibility of the emergency. Eligibility will be determined after a diagnostic evaluation is conducted by the City’s rehabilitation specialist and/or a licensed contractor.
The City of Pacific Grove’s Emergency Home Repair Program is available to Pacific Grove residents who own and occupy their homes, meet income requirements, and have an eligible housing rehab emergency.
