NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

PACIFIC GROVE CITY COUNCIL

Copies of the agenda packet are available for review at the Pacific Grove Library located at 550 Central Avenue; the main counter in City Hall at 300 Forest Avenue, Pacific Grove; and on the internet at www.ci.pg.ca.us/agendas. Materials related to an item on this Agenda submitted to the Council after distribution of the agenda packet will also be made available for public inspection at the main counter in City Hall.

1. PUBLIC COMMENT

Comments from the audience will not receive Council action. Comments must deal with matters subject to the jurisdiction of the City and the Council and will be limited to three minutes. Comments regarding agenda items at today’s meeting shall be heard prior to Council’s consideration of such items at the time such items are called. Whenever possible, letters should be submitted to the Council in advance of the meeting.

2. REVIEW OF DRAFT PROJECT PLAN PROPOSALS AND ANNUAL AGENDA FOR 2010.

Staff has developed project proposals for most of the 50+ projects agreed to by the Council at its November 7, 2009 planning session as being key to the City’s future. The Council can review those proposals, as well as the projected workload for staff and commissions, the dates that the issues would be coming back to Council, and the proposed outcomes. The Council can provide direction to staff on the proposals and their implications.

3. CONCLUSIONS AND NEXT STEPS

In addition to direction to staff and commissions on the individual project proposals, the Council may wish to provide direction on the framework of this overall effort and related matters going forward. Any matter requiring Council approval shall be brought forth at a future Council meeting for such action.

4. ADJOURNMENT
