Groundbreaking Kicks-Off for Pacific Grove Golf Course Clubhouse

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif.- The Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Course Clubhouse was held today.

After comments by Mayor Morrie Fisher, local dignitaries, high school and middle school golf teams and local golfers were able to participate by taking golf swings with gold painted golf clubs and took divots out of the ground. Many locals took several pieces of sod home as rememberance of the occassion.

DMC Construction of Pacific Grove was awarded the contract to build the new facility.

The current clubhouse will remain in full operation during construction.
