Mission Statement

The Pacific Grove Police department provides law enforcement, public safety and crime prevention to the citizens of Pacific Grove.

We pledge to protect life and property, as well as the natural environment around us. We believe in trust and a strong partnership with the community. Our goal is to give compassionate, fair and professional service to all people.

We are adaptable to the changing of employees and community. We meet these needs by being sensitive, attentive and proactive. We treat our employees with respect and dignity because they are our most valuable resource.
