The Pacific Grove Police Department would like to invite your agency to compete in the 20th Annual Pacific Grove Police Motorcycle Competition on April 21st , 2007, during the City's "Good Old Days Celebration." This annual event has attracted some of the best motor officers in the state. If your agency has competed in the past, we would like to welcome you back. If your department has not, I am sure you will appreciate the uniqueness of our team competition, which emphasizes professional appearance, low speed maneuvering and control skills. Each year the course is changed slightly, but the basic measuring components stay the same; control and synchronization with your teammate.

This year the US Marine inspection score will be weighted less for the overall final score, with a greater emphasis placed on the timed and riding scores.

Pacific Grove's competition is the only one recognized and sanctioned by the California Police and Fire Summer Games Federation. Winners in each category (inspection, time, and riding synchronization) will receive medals from the Federation and the overall high scoring team agency will receive the perpetual trophy to display in their department for the next year and bragging rights.
