Competitors are required to fill out and send in the following:

  • Team Registration form
  • Rider Questioneer form
  • Payment for entry fee

As a competitor there are a few things to know:

The bikes used by the competitors are usually given a last cleaning on Friday the day before the event. This takes place behind the Pacific Grove Police Department. All Bikes must be serviceable and duty ready and have a minimum of 1000 mile odometer reading. All riders must have Ca DL with motorcycle endorsement. We would appreciate copetitors doing the final cleanings behinhd the PD. This will also allow for visiting of vendor booths who sponsor the event, free lunch and just plain good time. Family and helpers are welcome and it's open to public.

Once the bikes are clean or just prior to 4:00pm, (which ever comes first), the bikes are moved to the P.G. Fire Department for overnight storage.

Competitors MUST attend the 4:00pm competition briefing. The briefing will provide crucial last minute changes and course information. NO BRIEF-NO RIDE. This meeting is limited to competitors, judges and event staff only.

Saturday morning will commence with the U.S.M.C. inspection directly in front of the Police Dept. Bikes and riders are staged promptly at 7:30-7:45am. Inspection starts at 8:00am.

Riding competition begins with the opening ceremony at 11:45am on Pine Ave. Riding starts at 12:00pm.

Drill Team Information

We welcome and appreciate the San Jose PD, Oakland PD and Los Angeles drill Teams. They have become part of the PG competition event and the fans look forward to the expert riding exhibitions. Due to past incidents certain precautionary steps have been implemented. We will coordinate directly with each team drill master or representative to pass on any changes or limitations on exhibitions.
